Art History Degree from Columbia University (New York) 1985 and
one from the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' 1989.
Two year course in painting conservation in Rome and a specialization
course at ICCROM, Rome (International Center for the Conservation
of Cultural Property) on the Conservation of Mural Paintings.
I have aslo been course Assistant to the ICCROM/UNESCO Stone
Conservation
Course in 2001.
Senior Conservator (field seasons 2000-2003, 2005, 2007)
I am Senior Conservator for the FJHP and along with Sari and
Anna
working on the stabilization of architectural structures in the main
church
area, and the conservation of fragile surfaces such as plaster
and
marble.
I am specialised in painted plaster, mortars and and
polychrome stone.
I am currently involved in research concerning fragments of painted
plaster
found in the Main Church area in JH.
